WASHINGTON - Today, April, 19, 2011, U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu, U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, Mayor Chris Coleman of St. Paul, Minnesota and Mayor Bob Walkup of Tucson, Arizona will hold a media conference call to discuss the success of the Department of Energy's Clean Cities program.
Sec. Chu will also announce a new round of funding to support President Obama's goal of putting one million electric vehicles on the road in the U.S. by 2015.
