DOE issued a Notice of Noncompliance Determination to Central Moloney, Inc. finding that liquid-immersed distribution transformer basic models 30300150 and 32500095 do not comport with the energy conservation standards. DOE determined the products were noncompliant based on the company's own testing. Central Moloney must immediately notify each person (or company) to whom Central Moloney distributed the noncompliant products that the products do not meet Federal standards. In addition, Central Moloney must provide to DOE documents and records showing the number of units Central Moloney distributed and to whom. The manufacturer and/or private labeler of the product may be subject to civil penalties.
