DOE ordered Danby Products to pay a $9,900 civil penalty after finding Danby had failed to certify that certain models of refrigerators and freezers comply with the applicable energy conservation standard. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Danby.
