DOE ordered International Refrigeration Products to pay an $8,000 civil penalty after finding International Refrigeration had failed to certify that certain room air conditioners comply with the applicable energy conservation standard. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and International Refrigeration.
