DOE ordered Simkar Corporation to pay a $28,193 civil penalty after finding Simkar had manufactured and distributed in commerce in the U.S. 326 units of a variety of noncompliant metal halide lamp fixtures basic models. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Simkar.
