WASHINGTON, DC - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today issued a new Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), valued at least $2.25 million for equipment and infrastructure upgrades at U.S. universities enhancing their ability to conduct cutting-edge nuclear research and development.  Infrastructure includes equipment and instrumentation for research reactors and other nuclear science and engineering laboratories and facilities.
