Transmission System Vegetation Management Program
Vegetation Management on Malin-Hilltop. Trees are located under and adjacent to conductors. Should a fire occur, these trees are a hazard to the line and could cause serious damage to the conductors, resulting in significant problems for the transmission grid. BPA plans on controlling these trees by removal. In addition, sagebrush along access roads and within 30 feet of structures will be mowed for fire prevention purposes.
