The Oklahoma Department of Commerce has established a loan/lease fund for public and non-profit K-12 schools to improve energy efficiency. Two categories of funding are available for schools to reduce energy consumption: Category One funding will pay for technical and energy audits, the development of Energy Management Plans, and any professional services that contribute to the planning and design of energy reduction systems and measures. Category II funding covers the actual acquisition and installation of energy conservation measures.
Edmond Electric offers rebates to residential customers who install energy-efficient heat pumps. This program applies to installations in both new and existing residential homes and complexes. Air-source heat pumps are eligible for a $250/ton rebate; geothermal heat pumps are eligible for an $800/ton rebate; and air conditioning units are eligible for a $100/ton rebate.
East Central Electric Cooperative offers rebates to residential customers to install energy-efficient ground source heat pumps, electric water heaters, and appliances. To qualify for the rebate customers must submit a rebate survey form, the appropriate appliance rebate form, and a company invoice, with date and proof of purchase price. The Credit Enhancement Program is a means by which the Oklahoma Finance Authority provides guarantees for small companies, manufacturing facilities and communities in need of funds for expansion projects and infrastructure loans. "Credit Enhanced" financing carry a financial guarantee of the Credit Enhancement Reserve Fund (CERF). The fund assumes part or all of the risk of repayment of the credit enhanced notes or bonds. The two basic forms of lending utilized by ODFA are conduit and credit-enhancement financing.

All eligible projects should increase energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, project a positive return on investment and be paid back within six years of the loan award. All purchased equipment must meet program requirements for energy efficiency. Commercial customers can also receive incentives up to $1,000 for efficient food service equipment and significant rebates for boilers and boiler components.
